All the kids at school were gathered around in groups, talking and laughing at all the Halloween plans they had. For some kids it was there favorite time of the year and others were scared too much to do anything. For one girl, it didn't matter though, she sat, huddled at the back of the the classroom with her hood pulled up over her head.
"Hi, Emma!" One of the kids greeted, plopping down beside her and starting to eat her package of crackers. He was tall with black, messy curled hair and bright brown eyes shining as though he knew of no wrong in the world. "I think I want to be a ghost for Halloween, what do you want to be?" He asked, curiously.
Emma looked up at him as her green eyes lit up and a small smile pulled up her lips. "To be honest, Jared, I'm not sure but... I think... I want to be happy." She told him.
Jared sighed, the spark fading from his eyes as he pulled her into a hug. Her hood fell down, reveling her blood red hair and the darkness under her eyes wasn't just from the hood. "You can be happy any day. It's okay, Emma." He replied, rubbing her back.

It was Halloween night and Emma was locked in her shadowed bathroom. A rope was held in her hands as tears poured down her face. She stood on a chair with a rope tied to the light on the ceiling and a noose slipped around her neck. Emma kicked the chair out from under her and the noose tightened around neck, killing her almost instantly.
There was a note found on the bathroom sink, recently wrote by Emma. "Don't worry about me, Jared," the note read. "I think I can be happy now."
I may make this into a story. Thank you for reading and please comment what you think.
